The Southern Gateway to Malaysia
Johor is the southern most state of Malaysia and just 1 kilometer across the crossway is the island nation of Singapore. Johor’s night markets and popular tourist attractions are often frequented by Singapore due to its near proximity. The state’s extensive coastline faces a number of lovely islands which are perfect for seaside activities. There are also a number of agro-tourism spots where you can attempt to tap rubber, plucks fresh mushroom, fruits and fishing.

Endau-Rompin National Park
The 92,000 hectare Endau-Rompin National Park straddles across 2 states, on the South of Pahang and North of Johor. Rich in flora and fauna, this lowland dipterocarp forest shelters wildlife such as the endangered Sumatran Rhinoceros, elephants, tapirs, tigers wild boars, deers, monkeys, gibbons, sun bears, civets and binturong as well as the rare fan-palm (livistona endauensis). There are some 26km of jungle trails within the park, the most popular being the gruelling 16km trail from Kuala Jasin to Batu Hamar and Buaya Sangkut.

Gunung Ledang
Gunung Ledang is 1,276m high and perfectly appeal to those with a spirit of adventure. During the 2 day trek, you will be greeted by views of beautiful flora and fauna and spectacular waterfalls. Desaru Beach
Desaru offers 26km of idyllic coastline fringed by many locals & tourists. Located in the district of Kota Tinggi, the Southern corner of Johor, the water here are perfect for a relaxing swim, canoeing, water-skiing and catamaran sailing. Alternatively, you can play a round of golf, learn how to fly a ultra-light aircraft or take part in a go-cart race.
Danga Bay
Danga Bay is a one-stop shopping and entertainment destination located along the popular Lido Beach. Here you can sample the delicious local fare available at various restaurants, shop at the Danga Festive Street Mall and visit the various Tradditional Malay Houses. You can also go for the river cruise along the straits up to Kampung Melayu (Malay Village) where you can stop at fish farms.
